Classically trained composer, Caio Amon engages as musical director in artistic projects of diverse areas.
He pursued formal education in composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where the study of contemporary techniques and non-Western instruments met his practice of Brazilian popular music, resulting in collaborations with the Atlas Ensemble and Nieuw Ensemble.
Contemporary music, along with Brazilian and non-Western influences, go together with a strong background in sound design and engineering.
